In Budapest

If you arrive by aeroplane at Budapest, take the following steps to get to Szeged.

  1. From Liszt Ferenc Airport, take bus 200E to Ferihegy railway station. You can buy bus tickets at ticket vending machines at the airport. Travel 4 stops and get off at Ferihegy railway station (Ferihegy vasútállomás).
  2. Board the train to Szeged at Ferihegy railway station. Note that there are no booking offices at this station, only vending machines (these accept bank cards). Alternatively, you can buy your ticket on-line in advance at MÁV-Start.

    To get a timetable, use ELVIRA with From = Budapest Airport [Ferihegy] and To = SZEGED*.

  3. Get off the train at Szeged train station. This is the terminal station of the train.

Alternatively, you can use transfer service, such as Pegazus Transzfer.

In Szeged

  1. To get to the LAMELIS venue from the train station, either take 15 minutes’ walk or get on tram 1 or tram 2. The tram stop is just in front of the train station. Get off at the third stop (Aradi vértanúk tere).
  2. To reach the accommodation from the train station, take tram 1 or 2. Get off at the 5th stop (Széchenyi tér). Cross the street and board bus 71, trolleybus 5 or trolleybus 5. Get off at the first stop after the bridge. The accommodation is 5 minutes’ walk from there (see map).
  3. To get to the LAMELIS venue from the accommodation, take any bus or trolleybus at Torontál tér. Get off at Széchenyi tér. Board tram 1 or tram 2 and get off at the second stop (Aradi vértanúk tere). The quickest and easiest entry to the venue is by the entrance on Tisza Lajos körút, exactly opposite Semmelweis utca.
